Manchester United recorded their 11th Premier League win of the season on Tuesday night as they overcame Bournemouth 3-0 at Old Trafford. The Red Devils are now fourth in the Premier League table following an upturn in fortunes under Erik ten Hag and will be looking to secure their place back in the Champions League come the end of the season.
United are finally starting to make progress on the pitch following years of underperformance. And Ten Hag will be confident of guiding his side to success between now and May.
But the Dutchman will be keen to bolster his team during the winter transfer window to ensure he has a squad that can compete with the best teams in the Premier League. Ten Hag lost Cristiano Ronaldo in November and will want to replace him as soon as possible to ensure his side don’t struggle in front of goal.

Manchester United look set to miss out on summer target Yann Sommer with the goalkeeper having a ‘verbal agreement’ in place to join Bayerb Munich.
According to Sky Germany, Sommer has no desire to leave the Bundesliga and Bayern Munich is the only club he wants to join.
The deal could reportedly go through this month, meaning United will have to look elsewhere for a new goalkeeper.
Manchester United are reportedly prepared to not sign a striker in the January transfer window if the right player doesn’t become available.
United ultimately missed out on Cody Gakpo with Liverpool swooping in and catching them off guard.
Finances are reportedly tight at United this month and they’re supposedly looking at the loan market.
But GiveMeSport claim United may not even sign a striker this month if the ‘right opportunity isn’t there’.
Eintracht Frankfurt chief Markus Krosche has issued a hands-off warning to Manchester United about Randal Kolo Muani.
The Red Devils are being linked with the highly-rated France international after he impressed at the World Cup.
But Frankfurt have no plans on selling the attacker this month with Krosche stating: “We will not sell Kolo Muani.”
Manchester United are ‘still pushing’ to try and sign Maxim Choupo-Moting from Bayern Munich this month.
According to Sky Germany, the striker has now begun holding ‘good talks’ with Bayern over a new contract.

And his absence from tonight’s match for Atletico suggests a move could be close to completion.
Manchester United may be frustrated in their attempts to sign Rafael Leao in the near future with the Portuguese star reportedly close to signing a new AC Milan contract.
United have been strongly linked with the highly-rated forward this season having impressed in Serie A.
A move in the summer had been touted with Leao’s future in doubt, but he looks set to sign a new deal with Milan.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Leao wants to find a resolution in talks with the Italian side.
Manchester United have no interest in raising desperately needed funds this month by cashing in on Harry Maguire or Scott McTominay, according to reports.
United are said to be strapped for cash in the January transfer window with the Glazers looking to sell the club.
It means Erik ten Hag may be restricted to the loan market, unless he’s able to offload players in his current squad.
Both Maguire and McTominay have struggled for minutes this season, but the Daily Mail claim Ten Hag doesn’t want either of them to be sold this month.
