REHEARSALS are in full swing at the moment for Enniscorthy Drama Group’s forthcoming production of ‘The Factory Girls’, by Frank McGuinness.
The play will be staged in the towns Presentation Arts Centre from Wednesday, January 18, to Saturday, January 21, with each of the performances beginning at 8 p.m.
The production is being directed by Joan O’Rourke and Pat Murphy, who are both very well known and highly respected on the local theatrical and music scenes.
The cast also features some of the foremost names in the local acting world including Kate Breen, Karen Franklin, Madeline Breen, Anne Stafford, Brendan Carthy, Niall Holohan and Joan O’Rourke.

The group is exited about performing before a live audience once again and the highly regarded show is sure to draw a capacity crowd to the venue. The story revolves around five women who stage a lock-in at the shirt factory where they work, when faced with the losing their jobs.
